It is time to get the action started for Day 2 of the $100,000 guaranteed Main Event, returning 33 players for the day, paying 16 and the players built a top prize of $46,080 from the prize pool.
Dustin Fox is your overall chipleader at just shy of a quarter-million chips, having 'held court' at the Holdem Radio Secondary Table throughout the day Friday, running over people, enticing them into bad calls and amassing a huge stack of three times the average stack to start the day.
Jashti Kumar from the Bay Area, a regular on the NorCal/NorthernNevada poker circuit, worked over the very same table on Saturday during Day 1B, bagging just more than 210,000 chips at the end of the night.
Zak Gilbert, 4th at HPT Reno earlier this year, was running well late on Friday, gathering chips from others in rapid succession, bagging a little more than 200,000 to be 3rd on the leaderboard.
We'll be following all the action for you here, with regular updates, all the way until a winner is declared. Be sure to also follow us on Twitter at @HRLiveUpdates for up-to-the-minute action as well.
Cards go in the air at noon, see you then.
