By The Numbers: Day 2

Most of the Noon events in the October 2014 Poker NV Fall Challenge are $220 Hold'em tournaments, so that makes it easy for stats geeks like me to play with the numbers.

78 -- Friday, Event 1, drew 78 players and had a first prize of $5,010, nice turnout for a Friday afternoon.
106 -- Today, Event 4, and the board shows 106 entries as registration closes,
36 -- The field size for Event 4 is a 36 percent increase in field size from Event 1.
119 -- That was the field size for the 7 p.m. $110 Hold'em where players had a chance to compete in a low buyin against Jason Somervile and Danielle Anderson from RunItUP.
251 -- The total Day 1 entries was 251, a 32 percent increase over Day 1 in May for the inaugural Poker NV Challenge.

Early numbers show we could have a very good series here at the Peppermill, Monday night has a $330 All-Casino Employee Championships ... Wednesday is a $550 Heads-up event and the weekend is a $1,100 Main Event ...
