Level 6 is underway so the registration period has closed on Day 1A of the Main Event, and the board shows 105 total entries, already covering the $100,000 guarantee before Day 1B starts at Noon Saturday.
Players go on an hour-long dinner break after this level, then play to the end of Level 10, bagging chips at that point and moving on to Day 2 at noon Sunday.
Blinds are now 200/400 with 50 antes.
On the first hand after the level jumped, Yama Zheng caught a full double to about 54,000 when his Q♦3♦ topped the other player's AJ on a QJJQx board. Yama was runner-up at the Ante Up World Championships last August at Thunder Valley.
