Two sets of couples were in today's $235 Seniors event today, with Judith Ewing and Loren Cloninger (pictured) still in the running through nine levels while both Valerie and Dick Hanley were eliminated earlier in the day (both while at my table and NO, I did not knock out either of them).
Judith and Loren hold Couples Bragging Rights so far for this series.
We'll see Valerie and Dick back later in the series and definitely in the Main Event. Pretty sure Loren will be playing the Main also, not sure if Judith will or not.
Don't be surprised, folks, if one or more of this group makes the Main Event final table here at the Peppermill.
-- Loren as 14th, 15th and 17th place finishes in three HPTs in his career.
-- Valerie has a 16th and a 23rd .. and was the TV table Bubble when HPT was last at Thunder Valley in California in 2015.
-- Dick was 17th at the HPT Main Event just held at Blackhawk, Colorado.
