@HPTPoker players would expect to see Daniela @YoTeach1Yo Thompson in two weeks when they head to Thunder Valley in NorCal for the Season Championships. She headed over Donner Summit to Reno this weekend, however, and jumped in the $350 Kickoff Event.
When last night's bag-n-tag was reached, Thompson, or "LaLa," - as she's known around the poker community and more - was less than one small blind from bagging the biggest stack of the day.
This was also the very first time she's bagged chips in a multi-day tournament.
Something tells me we'll see Thompson in next weekend's $1,100 HPT Main Event, and in many Thunder Valley HPT Series tourneys as well.
