Day 1A of the @PeppermillPoker $100,000 guaranteed Main Event has come to a close with 14 of the initial 70 entries advancing to Sunday's Day 2.
Dustin Fox closed it out as the chipleader, as he had been for most of the day. His stack took a hit as he lost 125,000 to all-ins during the final level, running once into AA and another time flopping bottom two pair only to lose to a rivered bigger two pair. Then again, he also hit a straight flush two hands before the end of the night.
Others advancing to Day 2 include Zak Gilbert, Jed Hoffman, David Badolato, Rick Colson, Richard Hanley, Glenn Uchibori and Roy Peters.
Shaun Van Asdale, Billy Casey - who fired 4 times in Day 1A - and Ed Miller were eliminated during the last level of the night, along with Shawn Daniels who busted on the night's final hand to Hoffman.
Day 1B kicks off at noon Saturday with 34 already pre-registered. Late registration closes at 5:30pm.
We'll post Day 1A official chipcounts in about 25 minutes.
